Mason is a fantastic example of type and structure for our breed.  He moves effortlessly, and at the age of 8, still has a solid level topline.  He finished his two certificate of merits within 3 months, and when we joined the herding group, finished his championship after he went to Royal Canin where he gathered most of his points within that week.  He finished his grand in only a month after he finished his championship.  He loves to chase his ball, go on rides, and walk with me.  He is the boss in the house, so he is sure to let us know when people come down the driveway.  Jess, Billie, and Vicki  (handlers) can tell you he is the best dog.  Once he finished showing, he would sleep on the grooming table unleashed. As far as temperament, he is a very gentle dog.  He loves people, but when I am in the area, he tends to protect me.  So, he is very alert.  When with a handler, he is the lick machine.  He is constantly complimented by judges and people alike.  He is our loving pet and my joy with his brother, Goo.  He is retired from showing and will live out his life here with us, his brother, and his buddy cats and dogs.
